I most likely have missed it being a Scouser in New York. I do listen to BBC Merseyside online when I can, and heard a mention about it today on the M and S Show. I lived in Liverpool during a time when Town Hall were talking about selling off some of our treasures to pay the electric bill. Glad that didn't happen (or did it?). Like you, the program made me feel good that our city was being honored for a change. It made me even prouder to be from Liverpool, but I have always loved her because there is no place in the world with her spirit. I hope all the money being poured in has not changed that.
